What’s in His Face?

Psalm 105:4- Seek the Lord and His strength; seek His face ever more.

Do you ever think of where you are now and where you want to be? Mind travelling right? Hey! Don’t go so far, because what you need to journey successfully is right here, in these Words.

Where we are is a result of the strength we had to carry us there or the strength we lacked that kept us stuck. There’s so much to do to live a fulfilling life but we need strength to do it- we need strength to please God.

The scripture above tells us clearly that seeking the Lord and His strength is seeking His face. So the face of the Lord reveals His person and in His face we find strength.

Remember those times when you had to do a performance on stage- there are certain people you needed to be around because somehow you draw strength from their energy. It’s the same with God.

This life with all the challenges and struggles is like our stage and to be victorious we need our Father to be there for us, we need to behold his face because that’s how we draw strength to do life victoriously.

Choose to seek His face not just His arms. What is in His arms or what He can give to us is not who He is, you don’t know a person by their arms, do you? Who God is is engrained in His face that exudes His glory, beauty, might, power, love, grace and mercy unto us. Moses said show me your face, show me your glory (Exodus 33:18, 11). This should be our prayer (Numbers 6:25).

There’s strength in His face. So remain in constant fellowship with God until He shows us His face, His very essence wherein lies strength to overcome life’s obstacles
